Sheila has spent several days away from home this past week. She drove all the way to Idaho last Friday and spent a couple of days with Jay. Then on Sunday, she drove to Utah and stayed with Brittany and Ryan. Britt was going to girls camp and Sheila was going to be able to watch Annika and Ashton while she was gone. Fun for both of them....
She went to the Aquarium with Neen and then met with Boyd for dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant close to Britt and Ryan's house.
I fly up tomorrow, Thursday, we'll go to dinner with Grandma (great) Moulton, then to the Oquirrh (?) Mountain Temple open house, and then spend the night at Britt and Ryan's.
Friday morning we leave early for ELY, Nevada for State School Board Meetings. I hope to just relax, do a little sightseeing, and maybe even fishing. Then Saturday late afternoon we drive back to Las Vegas. Then next Friday night at midnight, we need to be at the airport to fly to GUATEMALA. Have we told you we were going to Guatemala?
We look forward to a great week as tourists.
We will be home on August 15th with many stories and pictures....

Surprise

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! We have enjoyed reading the family blogs so much this a.m. I bugged Megan to help us post on ours....so here goes. Never done this before without help!
Our morning began with our normal bike ride, Dad says we are the only "normal" people we know, however, we realized yesterday while participating in the 1st annual East Stake walk/5K run, which we "biked" in that we had been biking our entire married life. One of our first purchases with wedding $$$ was a nice bike for larry. He used it to ride to work and BYU so I could have the car some days. Then on to Alhambra CA where he would bike down hill to Savon Drug store and I would pick him up at night and tie the bike to the top of the orange 1971 Sentra and drive up the big hill ....about 5 miles to our home on Glendon Way. Over the CA years we would bike ride all over So. Ca. Our favorite thing to do was to tie our bikes on the rack we had put on our Nova Chevrolet and head for the Pacific Ocean and bike up and down feeling the ocean breezes.....we had Kodie and Trevor in bike seats and when Nikki came along we put her in a back carrier on Larrys back........probable not very safe.......and we were young then and had alot of energy...........What fun!. We still enjoy biking ...today it was across Charleston over to Stewart and then back to LV High School and home....Now if we were really in tune we would add a picture; but we will take "baby-steps" and just see if this will go the way of blogs.

Blog Update...

Well, it's been a while. So what have we been up to?
I have been keeping busy teaching seminary to the kids attending the East Area Tech Center. It has been a great challenge, and one I truly enjoy. It has been nice to get the kids better and to see that we still have strong youth out there.
Larry is keeping busy at work. And although business has slowed, he is such a hard worker he is making stuff happen!
We love for visitors to come and are excited to currently have the "Moulton Hotel" booked with the precious Reudter family. We are looking forward to our Southern California excursion and our Guatemala trips coming up.

Family

As the year comes to a close, our thoughts turn to the things we are most grateful for. The most important part of our life is our family. Over the next week, we will be blessed with the opportunity to visit each of our children and their posterity.

I want to share some pictures of our 2008 in review:

March 2008

We started off the month celebrating Sheila's birthday. The Utah Urrys came and visited for a couple of days and we enjoyed their company! Then we went to Utah and Idaho to visit lots of family. We came back to Vegas the night before Easter and were able to participate in the Farnsworth night-time Easter egg hunt. We celebrated Brian and Megan's sixth anniversary on Easter. The rest of the month we have been able to relax, as much as possible for us!!!! We are looking forward to an early April trip to Southern California to visit more family!
